How much weight will Pillar hold?
We've tested Pillar with weights up to 30 kilograms and it was rock solid. So, if you have any concern about an older model notebook computer being too heavy, worry not, Pillar will hold it without a doubt... even with a brick on top.
What size notebook computers will Pillar hold?
Pillar can accommodate notebook computers all the way up to a 17" MacBook Pro.
I just received Pillar and the weight of my computer doesn't seem to keep it open. What can I do?
Pillar has spent its whole life in a box, so it naturally wants to return to a flat position. We created the video above to show users how to best "break in" Pillar so that it becomes more immediately flexible to quickly accommodate even lightweight notebooks. Ordering and Returns
I live overseas and would like to order a Pillar. How long does shipping take?
To keep the cost of shipping as low as possible, we ship internationally using UPS Mail Innovations, which is a service in partnership with the USPS with packages sent via First Class Mail Internaitonal. Customers will receive a shipping confirmation number, but not an actual tracking. In our experience, the length of time it takes to receive your order varies greatly depending on where in the world you live and how quickly your country's customs office processes inbound packages. We recommend you allow at minimum one month before making an inquiry about your shipment.
Will I have to pay duties and taxes on my international order?
The cost of shipping your order internationally does not include any duties or taxes which your customs authority may assess. It is your responsibility to pay for these charges, should you receive an invoice from your local customs office. Unfortunately, we are unable to tell you how much these fees will be, but given the very low cost of Pillar, our experience is that they are marginal.
I just received my Pillar and would like to return it. What do I do?
We accept order returns within 14 days of receipt under the following conditions:
- Item was defective or damaged in transit
- Item was not used and packaging is in sellable condition
If your return request meets either of these conditions, please contact us for instructions on how to return your order for replacement or refund. Please note that orders being returned for refund that were not damaged or defective will be refunded less the original shipping charges (i.e. for the product only).
